Michael A. Maccia
Michael started his career as a solo practitioner defending the rights of individuals as an attorney in civil and criminal matters in the State of New Jersey. Since exiting private practice, he has been a serial entrepreneur.
Michael has been instrumental in the success of VEEPIO, a technology company that has developed a content optimization tool for mobile applications. Along with his team, he secured the Philadelphia Eagles, Denver Broncos, and Jacksonville Jaguars as the first adopters of VEEPIO technology. Michael has worked for more than 10 years with Cyber Security Affairs (formerly SSP Blue), a leading advisory firm for online safety, security, and privacy challenges facing corporations, governments, and individuals worldwide.
For 8 years, he served as President of ‘nPLAY, a childhood obesity foundation comprising a coalition of 40 professional athletes, both active and retired, from 13 sports. The nonprofit raised funding for schools and encouraged health and wellness to meet the criteria of the USDA’s Healthier US Schools Challenge. Michael serves on the Board of Directors of Collab-Orators, a 501(c) (3) that teaches under-resourced women and children the skills necessary to succeed in the 21st century.
Michael serves on the Templar Titan Advisory Board. Templar Titan is a “one stop” global risk mitigation firm that provides consulting, training, products, and operations support to global transnational companies, governmental agencies, non-governmental organizations, and select private individuals.
Michael earned his JD from New York Law School and served as a law clerk to the Honorable John S. Triarsi of the Superior Court of New Jersey. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history from George Washington University.
