Wow, things are flying along now! The Malachite Mews project in Guateng has advanced significantly, with real, visible improvements every day! It’s really gratifying to see, and really validates all the preparatory work the team has put in, from planning and funding right through on-site organisation and implementation.
As seen in the last post, the battery enclosures are moving forward, with brick and mortar drying and batteries soon to be installed.
The first of the solar panels are being installed, with work progressing quickly now that the frames and other prep work has been completed.
The Malachite Mews project is due to come online in August, and the progress indicates that it is likely to be spot on for this (revised, thanks COVID-19) timeline.
I’ll keep you all up to date as work progresses, but it is exciting to see good solid installations happening – and not a moment too soon.
